SplitGO is a browser tool from Saran Infotech for splitting trip expenses with friends. Trips, friends, and expenses stay in the browser you are using. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not store your trips on a Saran Infotech server.

The site may show ads from Google. Google may use cookies to serve and measure those ads. The details are below.

SplitGO is published by Saran Infotech. This policy covers this website. You can reach Saran Infotech through saraninfotech.com.

When you create a trip, add a friend, or write an expense, that information is saved in local storage in this browser. It can include:

• trip names, dates, currency, and notes
• names of people on a trip
• expenses, who paid, how a bill was split, and remarks
• settlements you record

Using the app does not upload that information to a Saran Infotech server. It remains on this device until you clear the site data, use Clear all local data in Settings, or the browser removes it.

Share trip builds a link that contains a copy of that trip, including names and expenses. The trip data sits in the part of the address after the #. Browsers do not send that part to our server when the page loads.

Anyone you send the link to can open it and read that copy, and their browser can save it locally. Share a link only with people who should see the trip. A later share is a newer copy. An older link does not update itself.

We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Blocking cookies or ads in your browser does not stop SplitGO from working. Trip data does not depend on advertising cookies. We do not use your trip names or expenses to choose ads ourselves, because that data stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

We do not sell your trip data. We do not run an account system. We do not ask for a phone number, a password, or a payment card to use the tool.

SplitGO is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

• Clear trips and friends from Settings, or clear this site's data in your browser.
• Stop sharing a trip by not sending the link. We cannot delete a link that is already on someone else's phone.
• Control Google ads from the links above, or with your browser's cookie settings.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
